Aural Rest

Privacy Policy

Effective October 24, 2026

This policy explains how Aural Rest, published by Turntable Medic, handles your information. In short: the app keeps everything on your phone and sends nothing to us or anyone else.

What the app stores

Aural Rest saves the following on your device so it can work:

What we collect

Nothing. Aural Rest has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. The app itself never sends your information anywhere: your tone matches, check-ins, listening time, music and settings stay on your phone. We do not sell, share or receive any of your data.

Optional tips

Aural Rest offers optional tips through Google Play (Settings > Support the developer). Tips unlock nothing. If you choose to give one, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play under Google's own terms and privacy policy, which is the only time the app uses the internet. Google Play gives us the standard record of the sale that every developer receives (for example the item, price and date); we never see your card or payment details.

Health information

Your check-in ratings and relief test results describe your tinnitus. They stay on your device with everything else, and are never sent anywhere by the app.

Backups

If Android backup is turned on for your phone, Android may include this app's data in your device backup to your Google account, under Google's own privacy terms. Aural Rest itself does not send it anywhere. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.

Permissions

Deleting your data

Uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Android Settings > Apps > Aural Rest > Storage. Either removes everything the app has saved. You can also delete individual matches and test results inside the app.

Children

Aural Rest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, at any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear in the app and on our website with a new effective date.
